HP-15da0111ns/0110ns Disassembly (RAM/HDD Install)
The HP-da0111/0110ns is a HP Laptop powered by an Intel Core i5 8250-U, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 2gb Nvidia Graphics Card. It doesn´t include a DVD/CD reader, however, once it´s opened, we can see a gap meant for it.
To start opening the laptop, we must release all of its 11 screws on its back, 6 of them located under two rubber bands we must detach.

After doing this, we must start separating the cover from the laptop itself by prying it starting from
the center of the PC. This is what we first find when we finally open it:
The red square is the space where a DVD/CD drive could be installed (in other variants of this PC it comes preinstalled). It contains a SATA connector. That´s where we can install an HDD apart from the included SSD, which can see at the right lower corner. However, this is not easy, as we will see.
We also can see the RAM slots, being one empty, so we can add another memory.
Adding a HDD/SSD to the existing SSD.
To connect an new hard disk to the Sata conector we will need an HDD/SSD adapter for this type of connector and which fits this computer. This adapter fits and works properly.

However, once we are going to connector the adapter to the SATA interface we Will face a problem; and that problem is on the cover.
Whoever knows why, HP placed a metal "grill" to fill the empty space of the "supposed" DVD/CD drive. This grill doesnt let the pc be closed when the adapter is installed.
What did I do? Just cut that grill. Its not very hard, its glued to the cover.
Check that all metal pieces are completely gone, as one simply piece can make the cover not close.
This is the final result after adding the new HDD/SSD. This will expand your initial storage.
